The Carpenter

Joseph has inspired parents throughout history, through story, painting, sculpture, and stained glass. A new series is coming that will explore his life through the lens of a father and husband, as he recognizes the awesome responsibilities entrusted to him. It’s a heroic story of his tireless effort to defend, lead, and provide for his wife and son amid the struggles and realities of daily life in first century Israel. 

Rooted in biblical moments and history, each episode offers an authentic journey into the hidden years of the greatest love story never told. The ultimate role model of love, unity and strength found in family, where life begins, faith is born, and love never ends. 

Heroic stories that uplift and celebrate the family are essential. Fewer are choosing marriage and children. Strong models of faith, parenthood and especially fatherhood are needed. The Carpenter, narrative, Bible-based series, will do just that. 

Bible-based content is part of the history of Family Theater Productions, and in recent years, has proven itself a family audience favorite. While it is a bullseye for a faith-based audience, these types of shows and others have proven popular with mainstream viewers.

Family Theater Productions' team of producers and writers, with Church and Bible experts, is creating The Carpenter, a television series bringing the most renowned family in history alive on the screen.
