'The Dating Project' on EWTN+ Features Faith-Forward Relationship Goals

Nearly half of America is single today — and many would rather not be. But, as a culture, we’ve lost the plot of how dating works.

Especially for young Catholics seeking to build a lasting marriage and family, it’s hard to even know how to begin ... but there’s a film that offers answers to just that.

How Is The Dating Project Helping Singles in Need?

The Dating Project is now streaming free on EWTN’s new on-demand digital platform EWTN+. The film combines heartfelt stories of singles — men and women, ages 18-40 — with practical, actionable strategies geared for, not the romcom world, but the real world.

Produced by Catholics, The Dating Project features the work of Catholic Boston College scholar Dr. Kerry Cronin, whose simple “Dating Assignment” has become a campus legend: ask someone out, face-to-face, for an actual date.

“The film offers viewers hope, inspiration and tools for navigating the relationship landscape,” said The Dating Project writer/producer Megan Harrington.

“The most important documentary in recent years,” said author and relationship expert Suzanne Venker upon the film’s release.

But Wait, There's More — On YouTube

Created from unseen footage shot for the original film is Dating Decoded: Beyond The Dating Project, a new companion series on YouTube, which dives deeper into the film’s themes.

Organized by topics, the series expands the conversation originally begun in the film — and we're hoping you will also continue the conversation in the comments section!

The Dating Project was produced by Paulist Productions, Mpower Pictures, in association with Family Theater Productions. The film, the YouTube series, and free dating resources are available now here.
