Family Theater can provide consultation for the accurate portrayal in scripts and productions of the Catholic faith and Catholic Church, teachings, terminology, Mass and other liturgical services, etc. and We also can provide informed commentary on the Catholic Church for news coverage and reports. For example, when KTLA-TV, Channel 5, one of Los Angeles’s premiere independent stations featuring perennial award-winning news programs, needed an informed Catholic resource for its coverage of the death of Pope John Paul II in April 2005 and the subsequent election of Pope Benedict XVI, it turned to Father Wiilfred Raymond, CSC, the National Director of Family Theater Productions, who appeared on several of KTLA’s news programs.

05/05/08 - An Angelus Student Film Festival winner Harry Kellerman answers an audience member’s question in Case de Cinema, Rome, Italy’s main cinema house, during an “Angelus in Rome” event recently as fellow winner José E. Iglesias Vigil listens. Kellerman of Columbia University, New York, the 2007 Angelus Priddy Bros. Triumph Award winner and Vigil, Polish National Film School, 2007 Mole-Richardson Production Excellence Award winner, were part of a panel with Harry Barbara Stepansky, American Film Institute, and Nicholas Ozeki, Chapman University, Orange, Calif., the 2006 and 2007 winners respectively of the Excellence in Filmmaking Award.
