Family Theater provides consultation for the accurate portrayal in scripts and productions of the Catholic faith, the Catholic Church and her teachings, terminology, and liturgical services, etc.

We also provide informed commentary on the Catholic Church for news coverage and reports.

Father David Guffey, CSC

Father David Guffey, CSC, has been at Family Theater for two years. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame twice with an undergraduate degree and a Master of Divinity degree. He received and MFA degree in Film from Loyola Marymount University in 2008. He is available on a limited basis to consult on television and film production, concerning Catholic theological, moral and liturgical issues.

As a filmmaker, writer, director and producer he possesses valuable talent. This is especially helpful to professional filmmakers. 

Father Wilfred Raymond, CSC

Father Wilfred Raymond, CSC, has been the National Director of Family Theater Productions since 2000. He is a graduate of Stonehill College and the University of Notre Dame with a Master’s Degree in Theology.

He is available on a limited basis to consult on film and television productions in the areas of Catholic theology, morality, liturgy and devotions. He also is a student of history, with a focus on European and American.
