History
A legacy in radio...and still active today.
Back in 1945, Father Patrick Peyton, against all odds, persuaded media giant the Mutual Broadcasting Company to give FREE air time dedicated to families. On a wing and a prayer, he successfully recruited Hollywood legends like Bing Crosby, Jimmy Stewart, Lucille Ball and Raymond Burr to host simple, yet profound, family messages across the airwaves. Little did Father Peyton know that his simple messages of family values mixed with Hollywood star power would be a catalyst for a series of famous family dramas still admired to this day.
