10/22/05 -- Julie Meerschwam, grand-prize winner of the 2005 Angelus Awards Student Film Festival, holds the Patrick Peyton Excellence in Filmmaking Award while posing with her mother and with Monika Moreno, left, Director of the Angelus Awards. Ms. Meerschwam of Columbia Unversity Graduate Film Program, New York, also received $10,000 cash prize for her short film, “Celamy.” In all, eight cash awards, totaling $27,500 were presented to student filmmakers at the 10th Annual Angelus Awards Oct. 22 at the Directors Guild of America. 08/12/10 - Father Willy Raymond, CSC, National Director of Family Theater Productions, is shown with the new Coadjutor Archbishop of Los Angeles, Archbishop José Gomez, after a recent Mass for Legatus. Father Raymond is the founding chaplain of the Hollywood Chapter of Legatus, an organization for Catholic presidents and CEOs. Archbishop Gomez will succeed Cardinal Roger Mahony when he retires next year. »
